Starting Over

So lets get back to this. Some of you may or may not have noticed some changes in my life recently. A few months ago now my life changed when I came out of a long term 5 year relationship. Was it hard? Yes. Was it the right thing? Yes. It wasn’t my decision but I think it was the right one and the last few months have now been a journey of self discovery and figuring out who I really am, what I really want and how I’m going to go about it. I’ve decided to finally embrace who I am and all that I love and enjoy and just go for it.
As if with perfect timing, Mal Paper reached out to me and asked if I would like to review one of their Goal Setter Planners. Usually I would have turned something like this down because I’m not much of a goal setter, but this time I figured new life, new me. It’s time to hunker down and focus on what i want for once. Something I would love to focus on now is my art. I LOVE painting and i love photography, you may have seen my photography instagram now but if you haven’t, I’ll link it here.
The Mal Goal Setter Planner allows you to set out your daily, weekly, monthly and yearly goals and helps you achieve them. I’ve been using it to help me plan my photography shoots and ideas, as well as focusing on my other favourite part, the morning tasks. The Planner helps you start your day in a positive way but giving you space to write out 3 things you’re thankful for each morning. These could be as simple as fresh water, or something more deep and personal. After you’ve chosen three things to be grateful for, you can write your daily afirmation.
The Planner talks you through how to use it and shows you example of affirmations and also how to put your daily tasks in order of importance. This helps you keep track of what you must do that day and what can wait if it needs to. This is something that I already find helpful because when I know I have lots of things to do, I can often get overwhelmed thinking I need to do all of them in one day otherwise it’s the end of the world.
The rest of this year is going to be dedicated to me figuring out myself and the things I want to achieve. I can’t wait to keep working on my photography and my art and to develop and improve myself. The Mal Planner is something that came to me just when I needed it and it’s going to give me the boost and push that I needed to become the best me I can be.
If the Mal Goal Setter Planner is something you think you’d like to try, you can get your hands on a hardback version here, or alternatively, you can download a free PDF here. I will also be hosting a giveaway on my instagram where you can have the chance to win one, so do check that out here also.
